FAQ

What is Sea Moss?

Sea Moss is one of several species of sea algae. It has been consumed by several different cultures for its health benefits for many years. Try it and witness the benefits yourself!

How long will my ready-made gel last?

Our flavoured gels (Elderberry Infused & Honey Lemon Ginger) have a best before date of 3 weeks (5 weeks for Original & Vanilla Cinnamon gels) from the day they have been prepared. Gels are made the same day they are shipped to ensure you get the most out of the shelf life. The best before date is typically far outlived if kept refrigerated. The best before date is not an expiry date. Contact us if you have any questions.

Can I preserve my ready-made gel by freezing it?

Yes, you can freeze the gel to preserve its shelf life. Remember to remove the Sea Moss gel from the glass mason jar into a freezer safe container prior to freezing.

What is the difference between the Gold, Full Spectrum (multi-coloured), and the Ultraviolet (purple)?

The Gold Sea Moss is Wild Harvested and directly dried under the sun (bleached).

Full Spectrum Sea Moss is Wild Harvested Sea Moss which has been intentionally dried and cured in the shade to maintain its natural colour and phytonutrients. The full spectrum has a more potent taste as well as more potent effects!

Our Ultraviolet (Purple) Sea Moss is Wild Harvested and has been subjected to higher levels of UV light allowing it to reflect the beautiful ultraviolet colour that helps maintain its phytonutrients. Its main nutrient, Anthocyanins, help reduce mucus in the body and it contains anti-acne agents.

What are typical processing and shipping times?

Once your order is placed, it typically takes 1-2 business days to process and ship your order. Canada Post generally takes 2-3 business days to deliver. (Note: all gels are made fresh to order the day they are shipped). We strive to process and ship the same or next day the order is placed to ensure you receive it in a timely manner. Please note, during periods where we have high order volumes, shipping may be delayed as our products are made fresh to order.
